Dan Mirvish, Slamdance Festival Founder

Monday, March 13th, 2006 Joining us tonight will be Slamdance Founder and Filmmaker Dan Mirvish.  Omaha-native Mirvish directed the famed cult hit OMAHA (THE MOVIE). He is also known as one of the founders of the Slamdance Film Festival, the renegade alternative to Sundance that was recently named the 7th best film festival in the world by E! Entertainment Television.  Still actively involved with the festival as a key programmer, master of ceremonies and web content master, Dan just returned from the 12th annual Slamdance, and has all the Park City scoop to share with us.  Dan most recently directed the real estate musical OPEN HOUSE, starring Anthony Rapp, Sally Kellerman and Kellie Martin. After sparking an Oscar controversy last year, the film just came out on DVD through Wellspring Media.  For more information, go to Dan’s website at www.OpenHouseMovie.com.
