Gustav’s Brush Premiere

Coming up at the NCC Hollywood Salon for Monday, March 12th…It’s the premiere of a Salon-Connection project!  We’re going to be screening a short that got its start right here at the Hollywood Salon. GUSTAV’S BRUSH is a 16 minute narrative short that came out of connections made at the NCC.  Written and directed by Mark Albracht, the film was shot over four days in June 2006 with a budget of $2,000. Post production has just wrapped, and the film will be debuting at the March Salon. GUSTAV tells the story of a friendship between a boy and a painter.  In addition to writer/director Mark Albracht, the NCCers who worked on the film include Tom Katsis (producer, actor), Ben Wilson (actor, PA), Adam Vogt (PA), James Elden (actor) and Robin Bealmer (composer). Many of them will be on hand to take their bows and your questions.  Lots of schmoozing, snacks and Nebraska raffle surprises will follow.  Please RSVP by 3pm today…the next Salon is TONIGHT: Monday, March 12th.
