ADAM JEFFERIS is a midwestern boy, born and bred. Born in Emporia, Kansas, he made the move to Scribner, Nebraska at the age of 14. As a Theatre Arts grad from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, his love of theatre continues to thrive. Adam is part of Tim Robbins’ The Actors’ Gang and has toured the globe with productions of A MIDSUMMER NIGHT’S DREAM, TARTUFFE, and HARLEQUINO: ON TO FREEDOM. In 2019 he was nominated for Stage Raw’s Theater Awards best ‘Male Comedy Performance’ for his work on ACCIDENTAL DEATH OF AN ANARCHIST. His most recent credits with the Gang are MUCH ADO ABOUT POOH, UBU THE KING, and AS BOO LIKE IT. He currently serves as the Director of Education and lead teaching artist for the company.

Adam recently played Anton Chekhov in CHEKHOV IN LOVE, a stage production directed by Megan Ketch, founder of Studio (a laboratory for actors to train and collaborate at any stage of their careers). You can catch him in supporting roles on tv shows like MR. MAYOR, 2 BROKE GIRLS, and Hulu’s CASUAL and film credits including I LOVE YOU BOTH. For the past 15 years, he has been a ‘regular hero’, popping up in countless national and regional television commercials. His unique approach to characters is beloved by most and appreciated by all.

His love for comedy and improvisation started as A Huge Embarrassing Failure back in Nebraska and quickly took to training and performing in Los Angeles. He has performed long form improvisation at iO West (now closed) and has taken on-going classes with Mi’s Westside Comedy Theater.

He feels lucky to work alongside his wife, Rynn Vogel, to collaborate on productions for the stage and screen including: MUCH ADO ABOUT POOH, AS BOO LIKE IT, APHRODITE’S HOLIDAY SHOW, and HOT CHOCOLATE HOLIDAY CLUB (virtual production).
