JOHN ROOD has extensive experience leading sales & marketing teams for top media & entertainment brands. While working for DISNEY for 15 years, he helped with the launch of  DISNEY+ and the re-launch of GOOD MORNING AMERICA & WORLD NEWS TONIGHT. At WARNER BROS., he helped unleash its superhero content, including BATMAN, SUPERMAN, and WONDER WOMAN, across all media platforms.

He is currently Chief Marketing Officer for MAGID where he works with clients in entertainment.

John has his MBA from The University of Texas – Austin, and his BA from The University of Nebraska, and serves on the Marketing advisory boards of each. He also continues to lecture at his alma maters, and at several other universities nationwide.
